Pastor Stephen Oelhafen
Pastor Stephen Oelhafen has served as our Spiritual Development Pastor shortly after he graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI in 2023. He was ordained in the public ministry and installed at St. Paul’s later that August. His role calls him to lead God’s people by helping members, our guests, and our neighbors connect with a church that treasures the Word of God!
Pastor O is a true Wisconsinite and spent most of his life growing up in the Metro Milwaukee area. He and his wife, Rebecca, currently have one little girl and are expecting their second child this fall! In his free time, you can find him around town playing pickleball, golf, and spending time with his family at Phelan Park.
He loves being a pastor because it means he gets to meet with people of all ages, sharing the saving gospel message and the love of Jesus.
Pastor Geoffrey Kieta
Pastor Geoffrey Kieta has served in the ministry of the WELS for over thirty years. Prior to coming to St. Paul’s, he served as a world missionary in Bogota, Colombia, then as pastor in Muskegon, Michigan and later in Livonia, Michigan. At St. Paul’s, he serves as the Spiritual Care pastor, which means that he takes the lead in many of the traditional pastoral functions like care for the hospitalized and homebound, stewardship training, etc. He also serves as the administrative pastor.
Pastor K moved around a lot growing up and as an adult, but he considers Michigan to be his home state. He and his wife Becky have two married sons and one grandson, none of whom live close by. He enjoys reading and traveling (including seeing those distant kids).
Pastor K loves to teach. He and Becky have enjoyed the warm welcome St. Paul’s has given them and all the exciting things that are happening in our ministry here.
