Recovery Groups

Every Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday | 6:30am-7:30am

Every week Recovery from Alcohol and Substance Abuse happens anonymously at St. Paul’s. We offer a comfortable and safe place for those who come for an hour to focus on the solution rather than the problem. In the meetings, Meditations devotions are read based on Christian principles and each individual is given an opportunity to share how the solution has affected their lives, or if they are in crisis, the group will offer to share thoughts on powerlessness and how God is in control. Through gathering in a calm, safe environment, offering support that only one sufferer can offer to another, and the fellowship, St. Paul’s is providing a service to the surrounding community of Menomonie.

Shut-Ins

Monthly | As Scheduled by Our Visiting Team

We have a group of trained men who visit shut-ins, bring God’s Word, and provide the Lord’s Supper. Our shut-ins are daily prayer warriors for our church leaders, pastors, teachers, and volunteers and we love to help keep them connected to our congregation by bringing the Lord’s Supper and God’s Word to them. We provide devotional packets, Forward in Christ magazines, and other resources to enrich the spiritual lives of our shut-in members. The Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod also has many resources to assist in such situations where people confined are in need of encouragement and help through Bible Study. If you would like to receive monthly visits, please let us know.
