Kristin was born and raised in Fond du Lac, WI. She is happily married to her husband Loren and they have two teenage daughters, Kyra and Aleya. As a family they like to go camping, hiking, and exploring. Kristin is enjoys runner as well as cooking, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
Kelly was hired as the preschool aide in the fall of 2019. She lives in Menomonie with her husband and two daughters. She graduated from Life Christian University with a Masters in Theology and also serves as the director of the children’s ministry at Love Church in Menomonie.
Kelsey was hired in the fall of 2020 to be a 3k aide. She resides in Menomonie with her husband, Chuck and their son, Grayden. When she’s not helping shape the minds of the young kiddos at St. Pauls she manages her family’s quilt shop, Thread Lab, downtown Menomonie. In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her family, being outside, quilting, baking, and any and all things creative.
Miss Tinkey is a Floridian by birth but grew up in Dowagiac (Doe-WAH-jack,) Michigan. She was taught by Preschoolers and Kindergartners for one year at her home congregation prior to coming to St. Paul’s. She is currently taught by Kindergartners and loves helping young brains grow.
Hope is a 2019 graduate of Martin Luther College. While she is a natural home body, she enjoys traveling the world to see God’s beautiful creation. If she isn’t doing school things, she can be found hanging out with her family, taking photographs, or going for a run.
I was born in 1986 in Appleton, and lived in Hortonville until 1995 when my dad took a call to teach in La Crosse, where they still call home today. I went to Onalaska Luther High School and graduated in 2004. In the fall of 2004 I started college at Martin Luther College, and graduated in December 2009. While at college I met Katie. We started dating in 2010, and got married October 6, 2012. We have four wonderful children: Hazel, Abby, Malach, and Elijah. I have taught in the Detroit area and North Fond du Lac, WI. Besides teaching, I enjoy hanging out with my family, playing video games, and watching sports.
Mr Travis Hahn joined the staff at St Paul’s in September 2019. He is motivated to engage students of all ages and abilities. Travis has an extensive background in working with children and experiences include special and regular education, community based programs and UW Stout. Travis has a degree from UW Stout, and he and his wife Michelle have 3 children and have been members of St Paul’s since 2008.
Mrs. Buss has been teaching art and fiber related arts to children and adults for almost two decades. Mrs. Buss received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Fibers and a Minor in Art history from UW-Milwaukee in 2000. She keeps active in her studio practice, shows her work in exhibitions, and creates work for her online store and presence. She has been an art teacher at St Paul’s since 2018.
A native of the Fox Valley area, Mrs. Batzer and her husband moved to Menomonie in 2013 and has served as the Executive Administrative Assistant since 2019. She holds a double major in music and Spanish from Lawrence University and has previous professional experience in the financial and healthcare industries. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking and baking as well as chasing her two feline companions.
Brittany grew up and graduated in Durand, WI. She currently resides in Menomonie with her husband, Isaac, two kids, and Yellow Lab. When she is not busy with her kids, she enjoys being outside, reading, being crafty, and traveling. She has been the School Secretary since Sept. 2019.
